More Jumping
Just one more jumping clip. She is really getting the hang of it now! She loves to jump!
"Emma" Jump Up
I have been wanting to get Emma a "Jenny Jump Up" forever now. I thought she had to be able to sit by herself though and so I've been waiting. But while in Walmart yesterday I saw one and it said 4 months to walking age...So I got yet another baby item! You should see our apartment. Where there are not boxes stacked waiting for moving day, there are baby items: swing, stroller, car seat carrier, clothes, toys, blanket spread out to play on, diaper bag, and now a Jenny Jumper!
At first Emma, just wanted to twirl in circles. I think her right leg is longer than her left! But she quickly started jumping as you can see at the end of the video clip.
Pony Dress
Grandma Young bought this dress for Emma before Emma was born. She just loved the little tights. The hanger it was on said 6 months so it was hung up with her 6 months dresses waiting to be worn. Well, I took it off the hanger to wear to church this last week and the dress said 3 months! Oops! Luckily it's a longer dress so it still fits. The tights are actually a bit big though! I'm just glad we got to wear it cuz she sure it cute!

"Are you sure the tights don't go on my head grandma?"
Emma wore them this way all night. She didn't even try to take them off. We even went on a stroller walk this way!

Little Stinker
Emma has really started to show her personality. She has never minded diaper changes, other than the first week of her life, and I really think it is because of her snazzy "lil' Stinker" chaning table that I made for her. (j/k) At about 3 months she started hanging on but now she wraps herself around it. Guess I can't leave her on it anymore while I wash my hands!
Rolling Over
I have been trying to get a video clip of Emma rolling over for a couple weeks now. I finally got one today. It's short but cute. By the way, she only rolls back to front, which they usually do closer to 6 months. She is supposed to roll front to back right about now but when I put her on her tummy, she just embraces it and lays her head down...or lately, she tries to "crawl" - which entails pulling her legs under her to turn in a circle - head burried of course!

Warm River
Brett, Brittany, Matt, Nicole, Olivia, and Jared went camping 2 weekends ago and we went up to visit them for an afternoon. It was really buggy so we didn't stay more than a few hours but it was relaxing...hot, but relaxing. Since it was so hot, we decided to let Emma dip her toes in the cool stream....she yanked her feet lickety-split and was a little upset with us! oops! Don't worry, Cale won her over by giving her a little Dew. Just kidding.

Moving Date Bumped Up!
Well, it appears that we are no longer moving on August 3rd, or July 21, but rather we are now moving July 19th! Our new landlord would like us to move in July 19th and we have nothing holding us here so our plan is to load the truck on the 18th, go to bed early and head out Saturday morning early early. Cale will drive the truck and tow the Focus and of course Mr. S will ride with him. Emma and I will drive the Escape. Cross your fingers that Emma sleeps well and doesn't take to long to eat since we won't ahve someon in the back to feed her while I drive. :-( ...unless anyone would like to volunteer to go with us!
The landlord told us that we are in Snowflake 5th ward and that he'd call the bishop and have him call us to arrange for the Elder's Quorum to help us unload the truck. Guess there's something to say for moving into a predominantly LDS community! hehe

It's Official!
It's official. We are moving to....Arizona! Cale is very excited about this and oddly enough I am too. There will be challenges, like expensive housing, but the job is exciting for cale. He'll be teaching at Indian Wells, which is on the Navajo reservation but is part of the Holbrook School District. He is actually going to teach 6th grade. He's excited for that oppotunity as well since it'll allow him to brush up on some of his less favorite subjects...like math. We are hoping to live over in Snowflake, Taylor, or Show Low rather than in Holbrook. The temple is in Snowflake and the communities are a bit larger, which I need to stay sane! So if any of you know the area or people in the area that have a beautiful, small, home for sale let us know! Our current plan is to rent for a little longer even though we are going insane with the renting (5.5 years now) and look for housing once we are down there. Cale has to be there July 23rd and will probably head down July 19th...with Scratchy. Scratchy will probably have to stay with his mom in Joe City for a bit but at least Cale and him will be closer to being reunited. Cale will then come back up for Emma and I at the end of the month to move us down! Crazy and exciting. It is all happening so fast. The only bad part is that it's happening to fast to find a home and just buy immediately. We will miss Idaho and all our friends and family here but luckily we have a blog...as do many of you. Please keep in touch and stop by if you are in ther area or would like to be in the area!

The Long Awaited Results of The Look-alike Meter!
When I originally did the Look-alike meter I used adult pictures of Cale and I to compare against Emma but the meter only said she looked like Cale 3% more than looking like me. I agreed she looked more like her dad but thought it should be much higher so I did it again with baby pictures for all of us and look what happened!
