First Swing Ride

This was the first time Emma enjoyed her swing! At first she just cried but then we figured out she was starving since my milk had not come in. Once we put her on a bottle, she turned into a little angel!

Note the harness of straps. I think it makes her look ready to parachute!

Emma's Arrival

Emma decided she wanted to be a leap year baby. After 32 hours of labor, we finally decided upon a c-section. She wouldn't drop down and I wasn't dilating very fast - if at all. My water had broken 24 hours prior to the c-section decision and since she had pooped in it, we were out of time. The surgery took 30 minutes tops and was so "easy." I'm kind of considering it next time!

Allens are now Three!

Our first time home as a three-some! Emma and her daddy are matching in that they are both wearing cowboys outfits.
