Well, it appears that we are no longer moving on August 3rd, or July 21, but rather we are now moving July 19th! Our new landlord would like us to move in July 19th and we have nothing holding us here so our plan is to load the truck on the 18th, go to bed early and head out Saturday morning early early. Cale will drive the truck and tow the Focus and of course Mr. S will ride with him. Emma and I will drive the Escape. Cross your fingers that Emma sleeps well and doesn't take to long to eat since we won't ahve someon in the back to feed her while I drive. :-( ...unless anyone would like to volunteer to go with us!
The landlord told us that we are in Snowflake 5th ward and that he'd call the bishop and have him call us to arrange for the Elder's Quorum to help us unload the truck. Guess there's something to say for moving into a predominantly LDS community! hehe

Exterior of New Apartment
I forgot to post the prettiest pics of our new apartment...the exterior! We are going to live in Lyon Crest Apartments until May 2009 and then buy a home in the area.

Who eats more? Definitely me - Cale has a very small sweet tooth and loves dinner!

Who's taller? Cale, by 4 inches
Who can sing better? Cale definitely...he can find the notes....I have to follow someone else.
Who is smarter? I'd like to think we are equally genius'.
Who does the laundry? Both of us
Who pays the bills? Usually me since Cale works all day and I run the household!
Who sleeps on the right side? Looking at the bed from the foot- me
Who mows the lawn? Cale will when we have a lawn!
Who cooks dinner? Usually me but Cale can cook 10 amazing meals.

Who is more stubborn? Funny what marriage does to one another....I am definitely but Cale has become much more stubborn in our 5+ years of marriage.
Who kissed who first? Oh it was mutual, believe me.
Who proposed? Cale proposed on Sep. 18 behind the Provo temple while sitting in the flower garden eating Subway sandwiches (and he got down on one knee).
Who has more friends? Depends on where we live. Cale has more friends from his past (he was Prom King), I have more friends in Rexburg.
Who is more sensitive? Cale, I think. I get hot headed easily but I think Cale is more sensitive.
Who has more siblings? Cale actually. He has 10 siblings, I ONLY have 7. :-)
Who wears the pants? Cale does....he is a great patriarch.

It's Official!
It's official. We are moving to....Arizona! Cale is very excited about this and oddly enough I am too. There will be challenges, like expensive housing, but the job is exciting for cale. He'll be teaching at Indian Wells, which is on the Navajo reservation but is part of the Holbrook School District. He is actually going to teach 6th grade. He's excited for that oppotunity as well since it'll allow him to brush up on some of his less favorite subjects...like math. We are hoping to live over in Snowflake, Taylor, or Show Low rather than in Holbrook. The temple is in Snowflake and the communities are a bit larger, which I need to stay sane! So if any of you know the area or people in the area that have a beautiful, small, home for sale let us know! Our current plan is to rent for a little longer even though we are going insane with the renting (5.5 years now) and look for housing once we are down there. Cale has to be there July 23rd and will probably head down July 19th...with Scratchy. Scratchy will probably have to stay with his mom in Joe City for a bit but at least Cale and him will be closer to being reunited. Cale will then come back up for Emma and I at the end of the month to move us down! Crazy and exciting. It is all happening so fast. The only bad part is that it's happening to fast to find a home and just buy immediately. We will miss Idaho and all our friends and family here but luckily we have a blog...as do many of you. Please keep in touch and stop by if you are in ther area or would like to be in the area!

The Long Awaited Results of The Look-alike Meter!
When I originally did the Look-alike meter I used adult pictures of Cale and I to compare against Emma but the meter only said she looked like Cale 3% more than looking like me. I agreed she looked more like her dad but thought it should be much higher so I did it again with baby pictures for all of us and look what happened!

Happy Father's Day Cale!
Emma and I enjoyed celebrating Cale's first Father's Day as a dad. We each got him a card and together we got him his Dallas Cowboys Slippers. He really like them. We also made him breakfast - cinnamon rolls (yumm).
Like Father, Like Daughter!
I came home to find Emma relaxing with dad. In fact she was watching him so intently as he played his playstation that we gave her her own controller. Look how hard she is concentrating!
James and Jamie treated us to an Astros game! It was me and Emma's first professional baseball game and it was HOT!! Emma left early with Grandpa and Grandma so we didn't get a pic of her here but we got some good ones of the others. The first if James and Jamie and Craig of course making sure he was in it. Then we have Krista and her "date," Cale and I (notice the sheen), and the love birds: Craig and his new girlfriend Colleen!
New Favorite Aunt!
Jessica definitely has a way with kids...at least with my kid. She and Emma took many a naps together. Jess just seems to have that special touch and can put Emma right to sleep. Way to go Jess!
Krista and her Creativity!
Krista got creative with Emma while we were in Texas. She took Emma's little skirt and head band and created two new hats! I love the pic of Emma peering out from under the skirt! 
Reunited
It was so hard for Grandma Young to leave little Emma back in March so it was so fun to get to go to Texas these past 2 weeks and visit the family again.

Emma is now 3 months old (May 29th) and loves to try and bite your nose! She has definitely figured out how to use her mouth, hands, and voice!

While we were in Ariozna interviewing for jobs, Emma got to see her grandparents again. They loved playing with her. She especially loved Grandpa only because she is a flirt and loves to catch any male eye and smile at him real big.

New bed
Emma has been a trooper through all of our travelling. The interview process has been a long one and extensive. Emma has now been to 6 different states, that's like 2 a month for her! She has been to Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. While staying at the hotel in Arizona the promised crib never showed up so we made a makeshift bed for Emma. She actually seemed to love it!

Happy Father's Day
So, I thought it fitting to try out the link Brittany posted for My Heritage's "look-a-like" meter on this fine Father's Day. It was fitting because as we suspected, Emma looks more like her daddy than her mommy. however, it only said she looks like him by 3% more than me. I think it should be higher since there baby pics are identicle. I'll have to scan our baby pics and do the meter thing again. Sorry, you'll have to wait for those results!
